FULL DESCRIPTION

Building off of a phenomenal first release of the 2011 vintage - this wine is truly dialed in. While this particular clone wants to create very dark and brooding wine, a 30% whole cluster fermentation regime works to add expressive aromatics and layer after layer of silky flavor to the wine in the glass. This wine has both incredible scale and length on the palate.  There is no shortage of things to appreciate here, and at a mere 101 cases produced it is sure to fly.

Block 18 is planted with the Entav 179 Clone, with origins in the northern part of the Rhone region of France. It ripens late in the season, and matures incredibly slowly.  The wine it produces is intensely dark - nearly black, with a distinctively savory quality about it.  You really just have to try it!
